Check-in : 3:00PM or after. Contact our office if you need to arrive later than 7:00PM. We can usually accommodate special requests. Check-out : 11:00AM. Thank you. Our complimentary home-cooked breakfast is served anytime between 8:00 – 9:30 am in the formal dining room. We recommend that our guests come down between 8:00 and 8:30 am to have the best breakfast experience because we like to serve everything when it is hot and fresh! We are a small property with limited staff and because food quality is very important to us (and no chef in the world can make their food taste great when kept warm for hours), we are unable to alter the complimentary breakfast time. However, we are able to offer a complimentary breakfast to go bag if you are unable to join us for the hot breakfast. Simply request the number of breakfast to go bags in the note section when you make an online reservation. Complementary WiFi is available throughout the inn. The swimming pool is available for our guests to use. There is absolutely no diving allowed as it is a lap pool with a maximum depth of less than five feet. RESERVATIONS/RATES There is a 2 night minimum stay on weekends, and a 3 night minimum during major holidays. Rates are per room, per night, based on double occupancy and may vary by season. Our rooms are designed to accommodate up to two people each. The Cottage and Boxwood room do have options for additional guests. All rates are subject to a 10.3% room tax (5.3% VA, 5% Albemarle County). Payment: 1 night deposit required, or 50% of entire stay if 2 nights or more. Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash accepted. CANCELLATIONS If you need to cancel, please e-mail a cancellation request. Because we are such a small inn, cancellations severely affect our business. Cancellations will be accepted up to 14 days prior to reservation date with a $30 cancellation fee. If you cancel within 14 days you will be held responsible for the full price of your intended stay. We will make every attempt to rebook your room, and if successful, you will only be charged the $30 cancellation fee. We are a "Non-smoking" Inn. Please, absolutely NO smoking, burning of candles or incense in any of the buildings on the property. PET POLICY Small/medium sized dogs are welcome in our cottage only. Our fee is $10 per pet per night. If you leave your dog unattended, he/she must be crated. This is for the safety of your dog as well as our housekeeping staff. Dog must be leashed at all times while on the property. If your dog is not well behaved or is a disturbance to other guests by barking or behaving aggressively, the innkeepers have the right to ask you to leave and no refunds will be offered. A $100 pet security deposit is required at check-in. Pet security is fully refundable after check-out and room inspection. We do have a resident dog in our part of the main house so if you are allergic to dogs, this might not be the best place for your vacation . NOTICE: Under Virginia law, there is no liability for an injury to or death of a participant in an agritourism activity conducted at this agritourism location if such injury or death results from the inherent risks of the agritourism activity. Inherent risks of agritourism activities include, among others, risks of injury inherent to land, equipment, and animals, as well as the potential for you to act in a negligent manner that may contribute to your injury or death.
